Seeking to demonstrate the power of composition to my eldest, I created this experimental piece. By manipulating a single design element - the uppercase letter G - through cropping, rotation, inversion, and placement within the composition, I harnessed the interplay of positive and negative space to imbue each segment with a distinct personality and evoke a range of emotions through movement. This creative endeavor also served as an exercise in the timeless medium of brush and ink, reconnecting me with traditional artistic roots.
